If I had to name the top 5 Internet Marketing Guru's, Corey Rudl would be one of them. The internet marketing world is mourning the death of one of the greatest Internet Marketers today. Corey Rudl died in a car accident at the age of 34, along with Benjamin Keaton. Corey had just gotten married in the past year.
It's very easy to get depressed about death especially when someone dies so young and successful. I've already had to deal with my only brother's death in the past year. He was only 39. But I believe that in the end we should celebrate something about the person who passes on instead of wallowing in misery. I did meet Corey in person and when I thought about what happened in that encounter it made me smile...
I had the pleasure of going to Corey's Wedding Reception & Seminar this past year. I won a DVD player in the drawing for prizes, and when I walked up to Corey to get the DVD player, he had taken the DVD player out of the box to check it out. He smiled at me and said "Sorry I opened it." I grinned back and said "That's okay." How could I be annoyed with Corey Rudl??? :) I can't claim to have known him but in person he seemed like a genuine and sweet person. My heart goes out to Corey's and Benjamin's family and friends...
Corey, I will never forget that smile of yours. You will be missed. :)
